Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (“PWP”) has identified a need for new procurement of a new Water and Power Plant in the Sultanate of Oman. This procurement shall be by the way of a fair and transparent competition for a new Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP).
The IWPP will be Coal fired and will be located in the Duqm area close to Duqm Port with expected power capacity of about 1000MW

Financial and Technical Advisory Services have been awarded to KPMG and Worley Parsons respectively. Legal Advisory Services were awarded in November 2009. The Project Advisory Services are progressing on schedule.
